Okay, let's be real. Today was the FIRST day since we moved here that I've had completely to myself. So you know what I've been doing? Not running or going to yoga like I said I was going to. Nope, I've been sitting on my ass in my bed watching the Olympics ALL FUCKING DAY LONG. That's right. I took a holiday today.
I looooove my daughter more than anything in the entire world, but holy balls, she is a handful and refuses to leave me alone. Ever. So in celebration of her very first day of school (camp..but whatever) in our new city, I am doing nothing. Not one bit of housework. No exercise. Nothing. And it's GLORIOUS! I didn't realize how much I needed this until I got up this morning at 5:45 to get her ready after not going to bed until 1 am because I was filling out her forms and packing her lunch and her backpack...etc. I went with my husband to her school this morning just in case I needed to go over any forms, so when I got home at 8, I took a nap until 11. Then I woke up, turned on NBC and have kind of been vegging out all day.
I had some grandiose plans about running AND going to yoga today. But shit...that's not happening. I'm going to milk my free holiday and then get my ass back at it tomorrow.
